Announcements

Vacation...
The weekly update (and Rose) will be on vacation for the month of July.

StreamWatch non-profit update...
John has been working hard to establish StreamWatch as a non-profit
organization. Here are some of the latest highlights:

* StreamWatch has a new Board of Directors, comprised of Tamara
Ambler, Chris Dumler, Jill Meyer, John Murphy, and Alyson Sappington.
The board will meet in early July.
* Starting in August, Rose will be working working approximately 30
hours per week to support the long-term monitoring program.
* StreamWatch is now managing an independent checking account. Many
thanks to our former fiscal agents (Rivanna Conservation Society and
Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District) for 7+ years of
administrative service to StreamWatch!
* Our application for federal tax exemption has been submitted.
